Bras d’eau
The Bras d’Eau National Park has been proclaimed on the 25th October 2011 under the Wildlife and National Parks Act No 13 of 1993.It consists of two reserves, Bras d’Eau Reserve and the Mare Sarcelle Reserve. The park supports an important a viable population of the Mauritius Paradise Fly Catcher, a bird endemic to Mauritius and Reunion. Last remnants of low land dry dwarf forests can also be found in Bras d’Eau National Park.
